Essential Mods for Skyrim

SKSE

SKSE serves to extend the game's scripting capabilities, which means that modders can create something that would not be possible only with what Skyrim offers. Several mods, including some from this list, need SKSE to run, so it's mandatory for anyone who really wants to change how Skyrim works.

Mod Organizer

Before you venture out and start downloading these modifications, you need to download Mod Organizer. As the name says, with this program you organize, install and uninstall your mods very easily. More than recommended.

Unofficial High Resolution Patch 

If you have decided to download High Resolution DLC, then download this patch. It fixes several bugs that Bethesda usually forgets to fix.

Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch

This patch fixes a lot of things I'm not going to list here, but it's more than recommended to download. Remember, this mod is only for the Legendary version, if you do not have this version, I put a list down there with the patch for the original game and its DLCs.

SkyUI

The Skyrim user interface is pretty bad, so SkyUI was created. It modifies the menus of the game to make them much easier to navigate with mouse and keyboard, even using the Xbox 360 controller is much easier to use.

RaceMenu

If you spend hours modifying the appearance of the character, you must have realized that skyrim is somewhat limited. RaceMenu is an expansion of the character customization menu, and adds a lot of sliders for you to change a lot of things and leave your character with your face, or with the face of whoever you want.

Alternate Start - Live Another Life 

Tired of whenever you create a new character having to go through all the chaos of Helgen? Well, Alternate Start is your salvation! With it you can create characters quickly and choose what you want to be among several options.

Physics mods

Below I made a list of some plugins that are needed to improve the physics of the game, and various armors use these plugins.
